Mr. Capalot, is the other term used to describe his Chicago Illinois rapper Polo Capalot. The popularity of his music grew when he posted tracks on YouTube. In the beginning his releases included songs such as the Come Up and NEVER CARED. In the following years, he also made his SoundCloud debut by releasing the mixtape "OFFICIAL POLO.G SUNDCLOUD". Gang With Me was Gang With Me's first single. The song was later followed by a second track called The Finer Things. He was in prison when he wrote Finer Things. It proved to be the first single to break through and accumulated million of hits on YouTube and brought him into spotlight. Soon, major labels showed their interest. Pop Out, featuring Lil Tjay, was finally released after the rapper signed the Columbia Records distribution agreement. The song climbed to the 22 position on Billboard Hot 100 and received millions of YouTube views. This was the first song to chart for the artist.
