Dina Meyer is an New York native who was brought up in Forest Hills Queens. She moved into Dix Hills Long Island just when she was finishing her junior high. Two of her brothers are Gregory, her elder brother as well as Evan. Her career began in entertainment when she was 9 years old, and began modeling. She started her acting training with The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and studied Sanford Meisner's acting techniques together with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock was among those who received training in this way, as well as Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. Her first performance came with Beverly Hills 90210. This led to her relocating in Los Angeles. After a few months, she landed the part of Johnny Mnemonic. For this movie, she was responsible of almost every stunt and proved herself to be an accomplished actor. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent she managed to land a regular role on Friends.
